of Photography at George Eastman House, Rochester, New York.
1996- February 1, 1996 moved to Ocala, Florida from homes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Ware, Ma. Both of the Marders share an interest in Photography, Music and Traveling and learning about other cultures and their history.
1997- After 8 Years of travel and research wrote and copyrighted a 300 page
documented book on America Indian Beliefs & Accomplishments
1995-1999- With the entrance of the first digital camera, Bill Marder was among one of the first to own, learn and develop techniques for use with his Mac computer. At the present time in the year 2002, Bill Marder is into his fourth digital a Nikon, utilizing a Mac computer, Epson printer and now mixes his own archival pigmented inks. He is able to create original photographs on canvas or other art papers. Bill Marder has travelled world thruout the world taking original photographs with his digital camera and has lectured to numerous organizations on the techniques of digital photography.
1998-2002- Bill Marder's Digital Photographic work is at galleries in Ocala, Gainesville, Florida, and Port Jefferson, New York
Marder's photos have been exhibited at art shows at the Appleton Art Museum, Ocala Civic Theater and Brick City center of the arts in Ocala, Florida and the Pen & Brush Gallery, Inc. New York City. Bill is a member of the Ocala Art Group and Camera Club and Fine Art on Broadway.
He has been the Official Photographer for the Will McLean Music Festival. Bill has also been the Photographer for the City of Ocala Park
Department, Annual Light Up Ocala Festival, taking over 125 individual photos and assembling them in one large collage for the individual sponsors.
2002- Bill Marder recently arrived back from a trip to Thailand taking a large number of Photos. He is preparing for an exhibition of his Thailand photographs in Bangkok sponsored by Alliance-Francoise.
Bill Marder is completing a new illustrated edition of his documented book, Notes on Native American Indians: Origins , Culture and Worldly Relationships.
Marder's photo Bag Man, N. Y. C. has picked out of a large number of entries to be exhibited at a Juried Show at the Pen & Brush Gallery at 16 East 10th St., N. Y. C. opening July 13, 2002.
